Dracula!!!! This book, although interesting, was very surprising and frightening. Every scary thing that could possibly be there..is! It seriously still gets me that he has hair GROWING OUT OF THE PALMS OF HIS HANDS. Who does that, who has that, who thinks to make up a character to have something so nasty looking?! Bram Stoker...thats who.

This is the true, horrible and frightening vampire. Dracula is the original modern vampire and he is king!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree. I think that the way that Stoker describes him makes Dracula seem disgusting and horrifying. I also think it's a stronger image than actually seeing Dracula in a movie because you can make up different disgusting traits.
ReplyDeleteI agree that it is slightly odd but he was trying to make a frightening looking man. When I read the description of what Dracula looked like I was actually very confused because all of my life I had imagined him with the slicked back hair, a widows peaks, and red lip. Strangely enough, this wasn't what he actually looked like at all.
