Don't Let Your Guard Down

As everyone draws near Mina has an alarm premonition. Mina sees many different faces she has never seen before. She is instantly paralyzed in fear. Van Helsing is alarmed by Mina’s condition and becomes weary of what is to come. Arthur and Jonathan are standing on top deck of the steamboat conversing about what is to come when black clouds in a matter of seconds devour the beautiful skies. Both men feel a chilling sense of darkness roll up their spines and their fear elevates to an all new level. Arthur turns to Jonathan and asks, “Is what we are doing desire of the flesh of a noble conviction?” Jonathan hesitates for a moment then responds, “Nobility is all we have left”. As Quincy and Dr. Seward near the castle they pass through a small town that appears lifeless. When galloping down the main street they are alarmed by skeletal remains that plague the street sides. Both men feel uneasy but Quincey insists that “we must finish what we have started.”

As each group draws near, they meet one hundred yards outside the castle. The men are alarmed by Mina’s paralyzed state. While composing a tactical plan the conversation was abruptly stopped by an ear shattering crack of thunder. Black clouds descend over the sky making the sun disappear. Quincey insists “it is the time to strike” and the men decide to leave Mina in the carriage safe out of harm’s way. The sky opens up, the doors to the castle swing open and clouds of smoke surround the men. The smoke clears and Dracula appears surrounded with the Volturi. Dracula raises his head and opens his eyes and the men’s souls are instantaneously sucked out of their bodies. With one swift breath, Dracula inhales all the men’s souls and leaves their bodies lifelessly where they stood. Mina appears and Dracula approaches his love with eyes of fire. As Dracula opens his arms to embrace Mina she rushes into his arms with eyes of passion. As Dracula held Mina his guard is completely dropped and with one swift move of Mina’s head she sinks her fangs in Dracula’s cold pale neck. The Volturi stand there shocked as they see their fearless leaders sucked away.
